The Ride Home. Dad is driving slow.
Burke Makes it Home Safe.
We have had a couple issues to complicate the coming home party. Rachel's wound has opened up a little and needs special care and trips to the doc. Burke has Jaundice and has to spend all of his time under the UV lights. Luckily we were able to get a home unit and watch him. We just have to watch his temp every 15 minutes and make sure the pads don't come off the eyes which loves to move.
He is such a doll!!!! he looks so relaxed in his tanning bed, he's got his feet kicked up, ankles crossed, hands folded - not a care in the world. Love you guys!
ReplyDeleteOk he's here!! I didn't know!!WOW! A HUGE congrats to new mom and dad! He looks perfect. I am soooooooooooooooo happy for you both. I hope everything went well and you are adjusting to everything. Its crazy hard in the beginning healing etc. I am sure many people have told you this already, but it so gets better! Hang in there :)
ReplyDeleteRachel he is absolutely perfect!! Congrats and good luck with the healing, good thing you have such a wonderful husband to take care of you :)
ReplyDeleteSo cute. Beck's best buddy for sure!!!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your home coming! Sorry you had to deal with the bili lights, but glad it's not taking to long. We had to do the same thing with Tyler. The first week or two is the hardest - learning to feed, setting up life with a baby. It gets easier and you are going to have so much fun. Heal well and enjoy letting others help!
